Dave derives his philosophy of customer service from his long experience as an auto-body and paint technician. He received his auto body apprenticeship in Ontario, 1972, becoming a journeyman in 1976. The 1980 boom brought him to Calgary where he worked as a technician for four years before being promoted to shop foreman and then to manager a year later. Over the next decade he worked as an insurance appraiser, managed a couple of shops before striking out on his own in 1995 with Crowfoot Image Auto Body, which then expanded to Cochrane 10 years later.
Dave spends his workdays overseeing operations, mentoring the next generation of Image Auto Body employees, and regularly attending industry meetings to bring new technology and innovative processes to both his shop locations. In his downtime, it’s hard to peel him off the couch during hockey season while watching his favorite team, the Calgary Flames, but you can also find him skiing, golfing, and boating.
